A Positive Trajectory Foundation (APTF) empowers girls ages 8–18 by building character, confidence, leadership, and opportunity through competitive athletics, academic excellence, mentorship, and community engagement. Through Assault Fastpitch, our student-athletes develop the discipline, resilience, teamwork, and life skills needed to succeed in college, careers, and life. As we continue to grow, APTF will expand into additional youth programs that create empowered futures for generations to come.
Our Core Areas of Support
Competitive Athletics
Assault Fastpitch provides girls ages 8U through 18U with year-round coaching, structured player development, competitive opportunities, and positive mentorship. Our program teaches far more than softball—we develop discipline, accountability, resilience, teamwork, leadership, and a commitment to excellence that prepares young athletes for success both on and off the field.
Academic Success
Participants are expected to maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. APTF promotes strong study habits, accountability, goal setting, tutoring, academic support, and preparation for college or career success.
Mentorship and Leadership
Every athlete deserves positive role models. APTF connects participants with coaches, educators, mentors, healthcare professionals, and community leaders who encourage confidence, integrity, communication, emotional wellness, and servant leadership. We strive to help every young person recognize their potential and become leaders within their families, schools, and communities.
Access and Opportunity
We believe financial circumstances should never prevent a child from pursuing their dreams. Through scholarships, fundraising assistance, equipment support, community partnerships, and donor generosity, APTF works to remove barriers and create opportunities that allow every participant to thrive regardless of their economic background.
College and Career Pathways
APTF helps student-athletes prepare for life beyond high school by connecting them with college recruiting resources, career exploration, mentors, scholarship opportunities, and higher education planning. As our organization grows, we will expand these services through partnerships with colleges, universities, businesses, and community organizations to help every participant build a successful future.
Statewide New Mexico Growth
Beginning in central New Mexico, APTF is committed to expanding opportunities for youth and families throughout the state. By partnering with schools, communities, volunteers, donors, and local organizations, we will build a sustainable network of programs that empowers young people regardless of where they live.
