Invest in Empowered Futures
A Positive Trajectory Foundation invites individuals, families, businesses, foundations, and community leaders to help build lasting opportunities for New Mexico youth. Major gifts and mission-aligned sponsorships can strengthen athletics, education, mentorship, leadership development, and pathways to higher education while helping APTF responsibly expand its reach across the state.
APTF is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. EIN: 83-3136576.
A Personal Invitation
For more than three decades, Coach Johnny Rodriguez has worked alongside young athletes, families, coaches, educators, and community leaders. APTF grows from that lifetime of service and from a belief that sports and education can help young people build confidence, discipline, character, leadership, and stronger futures.
Supporters considering a significant gift are invited to speak directly with APTF leadership about the mission, current priorities, responsible growth, and the kind of impact they hope to make. A conversation comes first. We want every partnership to reflect shared values, clear expectations, and meaningful service to youth.
Empowered Futures Leadership Circle
The Leadership Circle recognizes individuals, families, and businesses making substantial investments in APTF’s mission. Suggested giving levels provide starting points for conversation and may be fulfilled through one-time, monthly, quarterly, or annual giving.
- Future Builder — $5,000
- Mission Partner — $10,000
- Leadership Partner — $25,000
- Empowerment Partner — $50,000
- Legacy Partner — $100,000+
Every gift matters. These levels are invitations, not limitations, and APTF welcomes support at any amount.
Corporate Mission Partnerships
Businesses can help APTF reduce barriers and create opportunities through general operating support or support for specific mission priorities, including:
- Academic assistance, tutoring, and education resources
- Equipment, uniforms, training, and safe participation
- Transportation and tournament opportunities
- Mentorship, leadership, and youth-development services
- Professional coaching, strength and conditioning, speed and agility, healthcare, counseling, and social-work support
- Technology, recruiting education, college pathways, and career preparation
- Responsible statewide growth throughout New Mexico
Recognition With Purpose
APTF may recognize donors and sponsors through appropriate name or logo acknowledgment, impact communications, events, and mission materials. Recognition is always optional and provided only with the donor’s permission. APTF also respects donors who prefer to remain anonymous.
Sponsorship arrangements involving advertising, tickets, merchandise, services, or other benefits will be documented separately so APTF and the sponsor clearly understand what is being provided.
Give Money, Goods, Space or Expertise
Support for APTF does not always require writing a check. Individuals and businesses can strengthen the mission by contributing useful property, facilities, transportation, technology, supplies, or professional expertise.
- Equipment and uniforms: softball equipment, training tools, uniforms, safety supplies, storage systems, and other mission-ready items
- Office and program space: offices, meeting rooms, classrooms, storage, indoor training facilities, and athletic fields
- Accounting and financial support: bookkeeping, reconciliations, budgets, financial reports, payroll preparation, Form 990 support, grant reporting, and internal controls
- Legal and governance support: nonprofit, contract, employment, policy, risk-management, and sponsorship guidance
- Technology: computers, tablets, software, cybersecurity, cloud services, internet access, website support, and donor-management tools
- Transportation and travel: vehicles, fuel, maintenance, hotels, meals, tournament costs, and safe transportation assistance
- Youth and athletic services: coaching, strength and conditioning, speed and agility, athletic training, healthcare, nutrition, counseling, social work, tutoring, mentoring, and college or career support
- Communications and fundraising: photography, video, graphic design, printing, public relations, events, grant writing, and donor outreach
All proposed in-kind gifts and professional services are reviewed for mission fit, safety, condition, storage needs, restrictions, liability, and the costs of acceptance. APTF may respectfully decline a contribution that it cannot responsibly use or maintain.
APTF can provide an acknowledgment describing accepted property or services, but APTF will not assign a dollar value to donated property or professional time. Donors should retain their own records and consult their tax professional regarding valuation, required forms, and deductibility.
Receipts and Donor Records
After a completed online donation, supporters receive confirmation and donation documentation for their records. APTF is working toward downloadable PDF receipts, recurring giving, private donation history, and consolidated annual giving statements. Donors should consult their own tax professional regarding the deductibility and treatment of their contribution or sponsorship.
Let’s Build What Comes Next
If you are considering a major gift, recurring commitment, corporate partnership, in-kind contribution, or support for a specific program priority, we would be honored to begin with a conversation.
